Amburaya was founded in the year 2000 by Ashwani (Sunny) Bajaj, CEO and Managing Director, under the chairmanship of Mr. Om Parkash Bajaj, a successful first generation entrepreneur, well established in the textile trade in Thailand since 1947.
Amburaya is a prominent property developer and manager in Thailand's hospitality industry, with a focus on high-quality hotels and resorts. Presently, the group manages four hospitality assets that have a total of 684 keys, operating under the brands of IHG, Marriott, and their self-managed property, BelAire Bangkok. The group has plans to expand its hospitality platform across Thailand, Asia and Globally.
Besides properties in Bangkok, Pattaya and Koh Samui, the group has been working on future deals which are in the pipeline as new sites have been earmarked for development while opportunities to grow its portfolio further throughout Thailand and beyond.
